You should ensure:

• Understanding complete responsibilities as a surety.
• Receiving a copy of Note of Contract in a language that you can easily understand.
• Submitting only the required documents such that moneylender does not keep your NRIC card or any other identification proofs (driver’s license, passport, etc).
• Refraining from providing any information that contains passwords to your user accounts (Singpass account, Internet banking account, email).
